College students get 20 percent off donated items through Sept. 20 College students will receive a discount on clothing, furniture and other college essentials as they head back to campus this fall. Through Sept. 20, Goodwill's 37 central Indiana stores will offer college students 20 percent off donated merchandise. Customers must present a valid college I.D. to receive this discount. Goodwill Opens New Store Aug. 19 in New Castle Attention, shoppers! After 10 years of providing brand name merchandise at everyday low prices, the New Castle Goodwill Store relocated to a larger, more convenient location at 1719 S. Memorial Drive, near the McDonald's. The new store opened at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19. Designer clothes, brand-name merchandise, books and household items are just a few of the items offered at the new New Castle Goodwill Store. The new store employs 19 people and boasts 16,015 square feet, compared to the 11,000 square feet at its former location, four checkout lanes and a donation drive-thru center. Hours for the new store are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Revenue generated from the sale of donated goods supports Goodwill's services to help improve the education, skills, employability and economic self-sufficiency of adults and the future employability of young people. Goodwill Opens Third Store in Lafayette Attention, shoppers! Goodwill has found a third home in the Lafayette community. The new Lafayette-South Goodwill Store is now open. Designer clothes, brand-name merchandise, books and household items are just a few of the items offered at 3229 Daugherty Drive. The new store employs 30 people and boasts 15,000-square-feet, three checkout lanes and a double donation drive-thru center. Hours for the new store are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Along with this location, Lafayette residents can still shop and donate at the Goodwill Stores located at 11 Shenandoah Drive, Lafayette, and 907 Sagamore Parkway W., West Lafayette. Goodwill accepts a variety of donations including gently used clothing, shoes, housewares, furniture, toys and books.
